Sardinia and Corsica
Day 1: Met by crew at Ajaccio airport in Southern Corsica. Short 10 minute drive to the spectacular natural port of Bonifacio. Welcome drinks onboard. If desirable, take a short cruise to the beautiful Lavezzi Islands. Swim and snorkel in the turquoise water or simply relax on the yacht, before heading back to Bonifacio.
Day 2: After a leisurely breakfast on board, cruise up the south east Corsican coastline to Porta Vecchio. Lunchtime stop at one of the bays such as Golfe de Rondinara or Golfe de Santa Giulia. Port Vecchio is an interesting port to explore, with the old town on the hill above the port.
Day 3: South to Sardinia, skimming the islands that make up the Maddalena archipelago. Stop at one of the bays on Caprera Island, before proceeding to Porta Cervo. Go ashore for a stroll and a little shopping. Puerto Cervo is the famous port developed by the Agah Khan and forms part of the Costa Smerlda.
Day 4: Explore the Costa Smerlda coastline before sailing between the Maddalena archipelago islands and Sardinia. Anchor in one of the island bays on Spargi or Budelli before moving on to the port of Santa Teresa.
Day 5: After crossing the Bonifacio straits between Sardinia and Corsica, sail up the south west Corsican coast for Propriano. Snorkel and swim in one of the bays along the coast.
Day 6: Explore the rocky and rugged coastline of Propriano. Anchor in one of the beautiful sandy bays for an evening barbecue and dinner on board the yacht under the twilight sky.
Day 7: Following a morning of watersports activity, sail to Bonifacio. Savor an evening dinner in one of the restaurants along the quayside and explore the ancient fortress.
